What you don’t hear is what sells so many people on the Prowler Pro – Get behind the wheel, and you’ll quickly realize this Side-by-Side is the hands-down leader when it comes to engine and in-cab quietness. A convenient dash-mounted rocker switch lets you reel the 4,500lb winch in/out from the driver’s seat. The Prowler Pro has the ability to Lock and Unlock the rear differential for times traversing sensitive areas so tires don’t rip up lawns.

This 2022 Arctic Cat Prowler Pro is a utility-focused side-by-side 3-seater powered by a quiet 3-cylinder EFI engine. Known for its low noise levels, it features a revised CVT for improved durability, 13 inches of ground clearance, and a 2,000-lb towing capacity. Taking a seat on board the Prowler Pro is child’s play, all you have to do is open the half-door, put your foot on the floor and slide yourself into the bench seat. Steering wheel clearance from the driver and legroom are very generous. Once behind the wheel, visibility all around the vehicle is very good.

POWER – Like I mentioned above, the heart of the Prowler Pro is the industry’s quietest engine (58 dB), a 50-horsepower, 812 cc EFI engine that’s as reliable as it is capable of handling a workload. Noise, vibration and harshness are all dampened by well-tuned engine mounts and an isolated exhaust system. I can’t stress this enough: the quietness of this engine is enough to sell me. When you have a people hauler like this one, the noiselessness (that’s a word) is welcome when you have passengers with you, especially kids. And as a hunter, who wouldn’t want to be stealthy traversing your hunting grounds?

RIDE – For 2022, Arctic Cat greatly improved the stock ride quality of the Prowler Pro suspension with a lift kit, increasing ground clearance and enabling larger tires. The 27-inch tires on 14-inch rims do a great job of finding traction in both soft and hard terrain. You’ll appreciate the 13 inches of ground clearance, but the handful of times I scraped the bottom, I appreciated the full-length skidplate, which helps glide over obstacles and protects against damage.

TRAIL-TUNED SUSPENSION – The stock ride quality of the Prowler suspension has been designed with a lift kit to deliver high ground clearance, letting you navigate tough trails with ease. In both loaded and unloaded driving conditions, this side-by-side handles more aggressive terrain more easily with less bounce and increased control, giving you an all-around better ride.
