The Jeep Grand Cherokee upholds its reputation for striking an outstanding balance of on-road comfort and off-road capability. Even on everyday driving on dry pavement, we found this Jeep to be a perfectly comfortable and agreeable SUV around town and on the highway. However, if you do have an appetite for a little off-road adventuring, few SUVs in this class can match the capabilities of the Grand Cherokee.

Classy Interior
We’re impressed with the Jeep Grand Cherokee’s interior quality and comfort. In real-world family-hauling duty, we found the back seats to be accommodating for both kids and adults alike. With 38.2 inches of rear legroom and a spacious, wide bench offering ample hip and shoulder room, this car is ideal for families with adult-sized teenagers regularly riding in the back. It’s also wide enough to accommodate three child car seats across the back. The passenger space is about average for this class, but the amenities are anything but average.
