Can you rely on a durable mid-size SUV to give your adventures the style, comfort, and AWD performance it deserves? With the 2023 Passport, yes you can.

The Trail Sport – It has a rugged, redesigned body profile and exclusive features to match its all-terrain capabilities. Go forth with a front honeycomb grille, large dual exhaust outlets, and 18″ aluminum-alloy wheels with all-season tires. And do it in epic comfort and style with all-season floor mats and leather-trimmed seating surfaces with matching amber ambient lighting, contrast seat stitching, and Trail Sport logo stitching on the headrest.

i-VTM4 AWD System – The intelligent Variable Torque Management All-Wheel Drive system helps turn mountains into molehills.

Honda Sensing Technologies – Every Passport comes equipped with intuitive technologies designed to help keep you, and everyone on the road around you, safer.

Space to Spare – The 60/40 split folding 2nd-row seats and underfloor storage compartments give you flexibility to fit not just everyone, but virtually all their gear as well. The sliding and reclining 60/40 split-folding 2nd-row seat and the underfloor storage help make sure you can fit your stuff inside with ease.

A Powerful Engine – 280-hp 3.5-litre, 24-valve, Direct Injection, SOHC, i-VTEC V6 engine with 262 lb.-ft. of torque. And to help every liter go further, the Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) system is designed to automatically switch between 6 and 3 cylinders, depending on the driving conditions.

Let the Road Trip Soundtrack Begin – The Passport features an 8″ Display Audio System, a tablet-like touchscreen that lets you pinch, swipe, and tap to navigate your tech – including the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that seamlessly connect your compatible mobile device for directions, messages, music, and more. Plus, with the wireless charging, simply place your compatible mobile phone down and… voilà! You’re charging.

We like driving the Honda Passport. Chances are most people will feel the same.

The V6 engine is smooth yet strong, the steering is light yet precise, and the ride quality is comfortable yet contained. Honda does this efficient and effective stuff extremely well. This is everything anyone could reasonably demand from a midsize SUV.

The Passport is meant to have a little more off-road ability than its Pilot stablemate. Ground clearance is 8.1 inches — almost an inch higher than the Pilot, and about the same as its rivals. As long as the terrain isn’t too demanding, the Passport (now with all-wheel drive) will make it across. The Toyota 4Runner is renowned for its off-road talent, but isn’t as refined on tarmac as the Passport.
