The Ram doesn’t just impress aesthetically. In-car technology is also exceptional. The Uconnect touchscreen is one of the most user-friendly interfaces on the market and includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. We thought that BEFORE the system was upgraded for 2022 to be four times faster and have three times more memory than Uconnect 4 (which was one of the best systems out there as-is). Additional USB ports, including the USB-C type, are also added to the rear.

All this before we even talk about the room inside the cabin, which is better than generous. The rear seats are colossal, the front seats are roomy without forcing you to stretch too far to reach the controls, and the flat load floor in the back is great for packing your gear.

Verdict:  Ram’s stellar sales performance so far is proof enough that it’s a superb pickup truck. Pickup truck buyers are arguably the most loyal customers, so luring them out of a Ford or GM product is a stellar achievement.

Some might want a back-to-basics truck, but why? The Ram is physical proof that you can have your cake and eat it, too. With its overall approach to quality and luxury, the Ram proves there’s no need for a pickup to be a bouncy castle on wheels. You can have an SUV-like ride and handling and a decent tow rating, too. In resale, the Ram holds its value better than the Ford F-150.
